The "Happiness Carnival" festival in Al-Ashrafiyah Park and "Unaizah Summer" in Al-Hajeb Parks continue their activities under the supervision of the Unaizah Municipality, affiliated with the Qassim Region Municipality, and in partnership with the private sector, for a period of 45 days, as part of efforts to improve the quality of life and provide diverse entertainment options for all groups, with an average daily attendance of visitors reaching more than 8,000 visitors per day.
The mayor of Unaizah, Eng. Faris bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani, explained that these activities are part of the municipality's efforts to activate partnerships with the private sector by organizing seasons and programs that support economic activity and provide temporary job opportunities for the governorate's young men and women.
Al-Qahtani pointed out that neighborhood parks, such as Al-Ashrafiya Park, provide a safe and suitable environment for community events, while Al-Hajeb Parks are distinguished by their green spaces and their attractiveness to families from inside and outside Unaizah, which enhances its role as a sustainable entertainment destination.
Engineer Al-Qahtani stressed the Unaizah Municipality's keenness to invest in public spaces and transform them into entertainment and interactive platforms that meet the aspirations of residents and are in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to improve the quality of life and develop tourism and economic activity in the governorate.
