The Unaizah Summer Festival will kick off on Thursday, January 1, 1447 AH, in the Al-Hajeb tourist area, amidst a cheerful summer atmosphere and diverse entertainment programs targeting all family members. The festival will continue for 45 consecutive days.
The festival offers a range of distinctive entertainment and cultural activities, including an integrated shopping area and a wide range of local cafes and restaurants, in addition to air games for children and a haunted house, which is one of the most exciting elements, in addition to a bird area and seating areas for visitors.
The festival also includes an entertainment theatre for children, which presents performances by folklore groups, in addition to a Hijazi heritage area that displays aspects of local culture and ancient customs in an interactive manner.
The mayor of Unaizah Governorate, Eng. Faris bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani, stressed that the festival comes within the framework of supporting the tourism and entertainment movement in the governorate, stimulating economic activity, and achieving the goals of quality of life within the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, noting that the municipality was keen to provide an attractive and safe environment for visitors in cooperation with a number of partners and relevant parties.
