On Monday, 28/4/1447 AH (October 20, 2025), Eng. Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Majali, Mayor of Qassim Region, launched the "Be Aware" campaign, organized by the General Administration of Cybersecurity, in the main lobby of the Municipality's headquarters. The campaign aims to enhance security awareness, protect data, and promote digital literacy among employees.
The campaign included providing up-to-date information on safe cyber practices, distributing guidebooks, organizing an awareness booth, and providing hospitality to attendees. Participants also had the opportunity to participate in a raffle for valuable prizes of up to 1,500 riyals.
This contributes to creating a safer work environment and raising the level of adherence to technical standards within the Municipality This initiative comes as part of the Qassim Region Municipality's commitment to enhancing information security and integrating efforts among internal departments to spread a culture of cybersecurity awareness and support the digital transformation process in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
