Qassim Municipality provides 290 sales outlets through 15 municipal incubators to empower street vendors.

​The Qassim Region Municipality and its municipalities have implemented a project that includes 290 sales outlets distributed across 15 municipal incubators in the Qassim region, with the aim of empowering young men and women who own small businesses and street vendors.

The official spokesperson for the Qassim Region Municipality, Mr. Nayef bin Abdrabuh Al-Nafie, explained that these incubators were designed to accommodate shops, mobile carts, and productive families by providing fully serviced locations within parks, gardens, and public sites. Al-Nafie indicated that the project opens the way for formal employment opportunities, enhances consumer safety, preserves the urban landscape, and reduces visual distortion. It also provides a suitable investment environment for young people in vital tourist locations. 

Al-Nafie explained that the sites are selected in direct coordination with relevant authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow, while ensuring that the outlets are designed to align with the region's identity and harmonize with the events and festivals held there.​
