Qassim Region Municipality signs a contract for the maintenance and dualization of King Saud Road (Al-Ghammas-Al-Laseeb) for more than 3.8 million riyals.

​The Mayor of Basra, Eng. Elias bin Ibrahim Al-Suwaineh, signed the contract for the maintenance and dualization project of King Saud Road (Al-Ghammas - Al-Laseeb), received from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, at a total cost of (3,840,900) riyals. 

Eng.​Al-Suwaineh explained that the project aims to raise the efficiency of the road network infrastructure in the region, which contributes to enhancing traffic safety and improving the flow of traffic, pointing out that this step comes with the follow-up of the Municipality of Al-Qassim Region, Eng. Muhammad bin Mubarak Al-Majali, stressing that the municipality is proceeding with the implementation of development projects that contribute to improving the quality of life and the urban landscape in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Al-Suwaineh explained that the works include expanding the road, improving its intersections, and raising the level of traffic safety, which will positively reflect on serving residents and road users in a better way.
