Municipalities in the Qassim region support the national blood donation initiative.

​The municipalities of the Qassim region, affiliated with the region’s Municipality, participated in the blood donation campaign launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in support of the national blood donation initiative and to enhance the humanitarian and social aspects aimed at spreading the culture of donation and consolidating the values ​​of solidarity among members of society. 

The official spokesman for the Qassim region’s municipality, Mr. Nayef bin Abdrabuh Al-Nafie, explained that the municipalities’ participation came as an extension of their efforts in serving the community and strengthening partnerships with the health sectors, which contributes to providing the necessary quantities of blood to patients and those in need and helps in saving lives, in fulfillment of a noble humanitarian and national message. 

Al-Nafie emphasized that this participation comes within the framework of the municipalities’ social responsibilities and their keenness to support national initiatives and activate their role in raising awareness of the importance of blood donation and its positive impact on the health of the donor and the safety of society.
