Qassim Municipality is implementing a package of development and service projects during the first half of 2025 in Al-Fuwailiq Center.

​Al-Fuwailiq Municipality, affiliated with the Qassim Region Municipality, implemented a series of development and service projects during the first half of 2025 as part of its ongoing efforts to upgrade public facilities, strengthen infrastructure, and enhance the urban landscape, thus contributing to raising the quality of life for residents of Al-Fuwailiq Center and its affiliated centers. These efforts included the rehabilitation of two parks with a total area of ​​5,000 square meters, which were prepared and equipped with the necessary facilities to be a recreational area for families and a suitable place for social and recreational activities. The municipality also planted more than 300 seedlings in various locations in Al-Fuwailiq in support of the Qassim Green Initiative and improving the natural environment. In terms of infrastructure, the municipality carried out asphalt works that included a number of streets with an area exceeding 25,000 square meters, which contributes to raising the efficiency of the road network and improving the smooth flow of traffic. It also installed 220 lighting poles in Al-Fuwailiq and its affiliated centers with the aim of enhancing public safety and providing a safe environment for residents and vehicles. The projects also included the construction of sidewalks on a number of streets with lengths exceeding 7,500 meters. Al-Fuwailiq Municipality Mayor, Eng. Shaddad Al-Mutairi, pointed out that these projects are an extension of the municipality's development programs aimed at developing infrastructure and fulfilling residents' aspirations for integrated municipal services. He stressed that the municipality is continuing to implement more initiatives and projects that keep pace with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and contribute to improving the quality of life and creating an attractive urban environment.
